Solid Wood Panel Production
As GaviWood, in order to support the sustainability of forests, we produce high quality products by using class I logs obtained from end-of-life trees. These logs, which we supply from Turkey and abroad, are processed by our experienced team in our state-of-the-art facilities and transformed into solid panels in accordance with international quality standards.
With our high production capacity, we carefully process each log into slats and full-length slats, then prepare them for pressing by sizing them to the desired dimensions and standards. After a meticulous sorting process, the length-attached and full-length slats are glued at the edges and pressed side by side.
The obtained sheets are sized according to the determined dimensions. Then, calibration and sanding processes are applied on both surfaces to obtain a smooth surface. Considering the natural wood properties, the panels are carefully packaged with special shrink wrapping to prevent them from being affected by the external environment.
